This is the NSBE Membership zone of NSBE designed to handle all membership needs of the chapter. The overseer to the membership zone is the Vice President, but membership dues go to the Treasurer . Members can apply/renew Chapter membership online by completing and emailing a membership form.

The National Society of Black Engineers is a national organization. As such, we have a national chapter, several regional chapters under that and the hundreds of NSBE university chapters under their respective regional chapter. As a result, all members must pay dues to the national chapter as well as the chapter to become a paid member.

Join University of Illinois chapter

The U of I chapter dues are $7. Along with chapter dues national dues must be also paid. National dues may be paid online to (NSBE Online), or may be paid to the chapter along with the chapter dues (for a total of $17), and we will pay for you online.
Membership fees are:     National = $10     U of I Chapter = $7

Be advised, if you want us to pay for you online, there will be approximately a week long delay before you will be active online. Also, if you do not already have an NSBE Online account, NSBE will make one for you, but we will not be able to pay for you until you activate your account. You will receive an email from NOL asking you to click a link to complete your membership. YOU WILL NOT BE A NATIONALLY PAID MEMBER IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THIS STEP!!

Renew Membership

If you already have an account with NSBE Online, but have also paid the chapter your membership dues, you will have to go onto your online account to renew your membership. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ONLINE. You can pay the chapter and we will send the money in for you. You can pay online if you wish, but be sure to fill out a chapter membership application and mark on it that you have already paid online.     (NSBE Online)
